MBA 511 – MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
This course deals with the use of accounting information for the managerial decision-making. It focuses on preparation of the master budget, flexible budget, standard costing and variance analysis and taking corrective actions. Subjects such as evaluating the overall performance of the company; performance reports, cost-volume profit relations, break-even analysis, price bidding analysis, make or-buy decision, operating leverage, allocation of service department cost, transfer pricing will be covered. Specific topics include the need for planning and control, strategic planning, the function, measurement of inputs and outputs, pricing government services programming, budgeting, reporting, and performance evaluation.
MBA 541 – BUSINESS STATISTICS & DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Main objective of the course, is to gain ability of establish linear or nonlinear regression model on any finance subject and also to evaluate the figures of anova analysis. Students will gain the ability of using statistical techniques to establish their research questions, pose relevant hypotheses, and make use of the most appropriate tests to carry out a scientific study.
MBA 507 – FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
The aim of this course is to give an overview of short and long-term financial theory future cash flows, capital budgeting, risk and return, cost of capital, options and corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions. Further topics include risk analysis; capital asset pricing; capital structure and valuation; bankruptcy risk; and valuation; bankruptcy risk; and cost of capital.
